Members are typically skeptical of traditional religious claims. However, we recognize there is diversity in our personal beliefs and that individual members, while supporting the secular nature of our group, may hold different perspectives of the nature of our existence. Membership is $40 a year.

Moderator and caller-to-action: Ed Poll, Saugerties.

Friendship
HVH strives to be a group of friendly individuals.
We welcome new members, and want them to feel at home in a safe haven of fellowship.
We wish to celebrate our differences and share our unique perspectives.
Our demeanor should be good-humored, positive and constructive.

Community
HVH strives to be a contributing member of the overall community of the Hudson Valley. We seek full participation in community events. We are willing to network in cooperative endeavors with other organizations. As we promote Humanist values, we will maintain a high regard for the right of others to hold opposing views. We will participate in the arena of ideas in an honest and respectful manner.
